Love of my life,

Joy in my arms,

You stand watch--

Keep me from harm.

Make me feel safe

Just being near--

The look in your eyes

Drives away fear!

If I should falter,

Your voice soothes my soul.

Easing the panic,

Helping me grow.

Giving me time

To learn about me.

Nurturing -- caring

Helping me dream!

Holding my hand,

Touching my face.

Giving me courage

To face each new day.

Raising my spirits,

Reaching my heart!

Giving life to my love--

Even when we're apart.
